How to assess the performance of your investment properties, PLUS Depreciation; What is it and how does it work?
Date: Wednesday 5th of April
Venue: Suite 6, 512 Swift Street Albury (It is not at our office, it is at the Albury Chamber building which you can find across from the Civic Centre. Walk alongside the green ‘Programmed’ building, down the driveway and it is a room behind this building)
What we will cover:
Working with property investors every day, one of the main things we notice is people aren’t really sure if their properties are making them money or not, and whether their properties are actually a good investment. People could potentially be holding on to an under performing property for years, which just might be making them go backwards financially. Or they might have a property that has performed really well and has now grown in value to a point where they can build their portfolio by buying another property but don’t yet know it, this means they are potentially leaving money on the table.
This workshop is perfect for people wanting to become astute property investors, if you have a large portfolio of properties or looking to invest in your first, the skills that we will teach in this workshop will help you. We will cover simple, easy ways to analyse the performance of your portfolio.
We will show you how to calculate your property growth and yield, plus show you which figures really matter when it comes to investing in property.
PLUS, as an extra special gift, Edward Reavy from BMT Tax Depreciation in Sydney will be speaking to us about claiming depreciation for your investment property, what is it and how does it work?
Depreciation is the forgotten gift that keeps on giving when it comes to property investment, you can save thousands every year on your tax by having a depreciation schedule for your investment property.
